Hebrew University’s Prof. Lioz Etgar was the first to demonstrate the possibility of working with perovskite as a light harvester and hole conductor at the same time, its multiple applications and prospects in solar cells. A pioneer in his field, Prof. Etgar is pushing the boundaries of solar cell efficiency and reinventing the ways they are used across industries and everyday situations. To achieve this level of flexibility in perovskite solar cells, Prof. Etgar’s research interests cover a wide variety of topics from improving photovoltaic parameters, to synthesizing hybrid materials at low temperatures. He recently won the prestigious Krill prize by the Wolf Foundation, solidifying the promise he showed in early years of professorship, when he received a Marie Curie Fellowship and won the Wolf Prize for young scientists. In addition to his academic career, Prof. Etgar has founded three startups based on his perovskite inventions, focusing on applications for IoT devices, construction and greenhouses.

Maria Manuela Silva obtained a Research Assistant position in the Department of Chemistry of the University of Minho (1991). She received her PhD in Chemistry in 1999 and was promoted to Assistant Professor at the same University, where she is now Associate Professor with Habilitation. Her research activities focus on the synthesis and characterisation of solid polymer electrolytes and their application in the domains of solid state electrochemistry (batteries and electrochromic devices). She is also interested in the chemistry of organic-inorganic hybrid materials. She is co-author of more 200 papers in SCI journals, 35 papers in Proceedings and 7 book chapters.

Dr. Ambrish Singh is working as Professor in School of New Energy and Materials, Southwest Petroleum University, China. He is leading the Corrosion Research Group (CRG) with master students, Ph.D. students and post doc researchers. His research interests are mainly focused on corrosion, electrochemistry, green chemistry, quantum chemistry, smart coatings, polymers, nano-materials, composites, and petroleum engineering. He got the prestigious Sichuan 1000 Talent Award from the Sichuan government, China for his outstanding research contributions as a faculty. He got the President’s Award for exceptional post-doctoral research work. He also received the Young Scientist Award from UPCST, Lucknow, India. He has published more than 160 SCI peer-reviewed research papers in high impact journals. He is acting as reviewer for more than 43 high impact journals and editor for few journals. Dr. Singh has been invited to present his work in several national and international conferences, seminars and workshops. He is the author of several book chapters and books. He has drafted five patents based on his new and innovative findings and awarded with one in China. He has finished several state and provincial projects in China and India. He is a consultant to KFUPM, Saudi Arabia for an international project. He is the member of ISCA, NACE, AMPP, SPE and ACS. Recently, he has been included as a Fellow to The Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC).

Prof Abir De Sarkar, the Dean (Faculty) & Scientist-F at the Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali, India pursues research on Computational Nanoscience. He had his first and last postdoctoral stints at the Fritz-Haber Institute of the Max-Planck Society, Berlin, Germany & Uppsala University, Sweden respectively. American Chemical Society (ACS) has recognized him in the top 3% highly cited scientist for the year 2019-2000. The CNR Rao award for excellence in nanoresearch for the year 2018 has been conferred upon him. He has been the recipient of President of India, medal for the year 2000. Prof. De Sarkar has published more than 100 papers and has guided 5 PhD students to the successful completion of their PhD.

Dr. Saurabh Kumar Yadav is an accomplished Assistant Professor in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at IITRAM, Ahmedabad. With a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, his expertise lies in vibration analysis, finite element analysis, lubrication, and surface texture. Dr. Yadav's extensive research has been published in reputable journals, and he has presented his work at international conferences. He has garnered funding from organizations like SERB and has actively participated in industrial consultancy projects. With over six years of post-Ph.D. experience, he has held academic positions at esteemed institutions and served as a Visiting Research Fellow at Northwestern University. Dr. Yadav's proficiency in programming languages like MATLAB and Python, coupled with his proficiency in software packages such as Abacus, Ansys, and SIM-MECHANICS, further enhances his research capabilities. Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has been retired due to the age limit of 67, following academic life of 45 years.

Dilip V. Vasava is working as an assistant professor at Department of Chemistry, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India received his doctoral degree in polymer chemistry. He has published 30 research articles, filled seven patents, two books and three book chapters are published in reputable journals and completed two research projects. Four PhD’s and four MPhil degree are awarded under his guidance and nine PhD scholars are pursuing PhD under his guidance. We are actively involved in designing and synthesis of important organic and heterocyclic drug molecules, Nano materials, biodegradable polymers, and smart materials. My research group is also involved in synthesis of high-performance materials having fluorescence and flame-retardant property, nanocomposites, and green synthesis.

Prof. Shan He is a Bio-Engineer, a leader with research and teaching expertise in industry and university. He completed his PhD from Flinders University, Australia. After that, he has worked in 4 countries (Australia, New Zealand, Italy and China) with outstanding achievement. Dr. Shan He has achieved 72 peer-reviewed journal publications, with 52 as the first or corresponding authors; 1 peer-reviewed book publications; and 15 patents application with 5 granted. Dr. Shan is also serving as editors in 2 journals: Frontier in Marine Science (IF=5.247) and Frontier in Bioengineering and Biotechnology

Md. Zakir Hossain, Ph.D. is a Professor of chemistry, affiliated with Gunma University Initiative for Advanced Research (GIAR), Gunma University, Japan. Before joining Gunma University in 2011, he worked at Northwestern University, Illinois, USA, RIKEN, Japan, The University of Tokyo, Japan and SUST, Bangladesh. Professor Hossain obtained his Ph.D. from Kyoto University, Japan in 2002. He is an expert in the surface and interface of materials. His specialty is in ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) technology, different single-crystal surfaces, and interfaces. Recently, his research works have been extended to two-dimensional materials such as graphene, black phosphorus, MoS2, etc. His research work involves the synthesis, characterization, and application of those two-dimensional materials in different types of sensors such as biosensors and UV sensors. Prof. Hossain is the author of many articles in various reputed journals such as Nature, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Sensing and Bio-sensing Research, etc.

Dr. Mathews is a senior Scientist at the Renewable Energy Institute of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Mathews obtained her Ph.D from National Autonomous university of Mexico for her work on semiconductor-based hydrogen production. Her area of research involves the development of materials for photovoltaics with emphasis on chalcogenide sulfides and selenides. She authored or co-authored more than 70 research papers in international journals with her students, and collaborators both National and International. Currently she leads a group of students both graduate and undergraduate

Prof. Jose Holanda da Silva Júnior is known as Prof. Jose Holanda, and is Professor at Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) working at Academic Unit of Cabo de Santo Agostinho (UACSA). The Prof. Jose Holanda has many awards, which makes him one of the most important young scientists in Brazil. He has been carrying out research in the areas of optoelectronics, spintronics, scientific instrumentation, aerospace defense and renewable energy. He is the group leader and coordinator of the Laboratory of Optoelectronics and Spintronics at UFRPE.
